Course Reviews

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tom is an incredible instructor. His training is engaging and thorough. The time really flew by! I really appreciated how Tom taught me a lot of new stuff that I’ve never learned in previous training. In other words, it wasn't just a rehash of things I already knew. I highly recommend Not Today and will encourage others to train with Tom.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The class was put together by Tom, who is a professional at every level. The class was personalized, came from plenty of expertise and experience, and stayed relevant/interesting the entire time. Tom goes through the trouble to get extra courses and training under his belt. It showed in his classes.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ By far the most informational renewal class to date. Tom Durrell instruction and information went above and beyond any CCW that I've attended. I've been a CCW carrier for going on ten years. I highly recommend Not Today to anyone thinking about a CCW or for your renewal. Great Instructor! Great instruction!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I went in thinking the 16 hours was going to be boring. Like a court ordered drivers ed course. Nope, it was valuable. Very valuable. Cant thank Tom enough. Highly recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tom Durell is a great example of someone who knows how to teach and he takes the time to educate, while keeping it engaging, interesting, and personal. I genuinely appreciated the time spent on my Saturday, especially compared to a prior experience that felt pretty bland. I’d recommend Tom to anyone not only looking to earn their certificate hours, but to actually learn along the way real, actionable intelligence paired with real-life stories. Thanks, Tom. Best, Louis Tomaselli

You can tell he genuinely cares about teaching safe and responsible firearm practices, not just getting through the material. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for CCW training.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tom delivered an outstanding 16-hour CCW course with clear command of the subject, professionalism, and practical insight. His PowerPoint presentation, Q&A format, note-taking guidance, and teaching aids kept the class engaged and focused. The intentionally designed small-group lecture area created an excellent learning environment. I highly recommend Tom’s course to anyone seeking serious, responsible, and high-quality CCW training.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars! Highly Recommended! I just completed Tom's CCW class and couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, Tom delivered an outstanding course that was both informative and engaging. He has a way of breaking down complex material into clear, practical lessons that stick with you. What stood out the most was his focus on real-world safety, legal responsibility, and mindset—not just checking a box for certification. Tom made sure every student left the class not only knowing the laws but also understanding the importance of carrying responsibly and confidently. His professionalism, patience, and real-life examples made the class easy to follow regardless of experience level. Whether you’re new to firearms or have been around them for years, you’ll learn something valuable from Tom. I highly recommend this class to anyone serious about CCW.
